Ásatrúarfélagiđ heeft een stormvloed van kritiek over zich heen gekregen met name uit Amerikaanse hoek omdat ze bij de tempel die ze daar hebben geen onderscheid maken tussen wie ze daar trouwen, zwart, geel, blank of iemand uit de holebi gemeenschap. Hieronder de tekst. Is het een optie om aan te geven dat wij als Heidevlam achter Ásatrúarfélagiđ staan?

So we have gathered more than 3.000 supporters. Thank you all again.

At IASC 2015 the council agreed upon a joint statement.
Due to the informal structure of the Asatru-EU network, this statement had to be taken back to the individual groups and was minimally altered in an discussion on our bulletin board. We may now present the final text:

"We, the groups and individuals behind the Asatru-EU network support and share Ásatrúarfélagið's non-discriminatory stance.

We believe in a reality populated by uncountable beings, such as gods, ancestors, land-wights, etins, humans, etc., all co-existing with equal value and unbreakable interdependance.

We are firmly committed to Asatru as a non-exclusive religious approach, heathenry is open for everyone who chooses so.

We strongly believe in respect, in respecting others and in frith, in open-mindedness and the courage to grant others their space.”

This statement is now in the process of finally being accepted by each groups' responsible entities and is supposed to be published on their websites. So far it has bee accepted by these groups:
- Eldaring e.V. (ER), Germany
- De 9 Werelden (D9W), Netherlands
- Het Rad, Netherlands
- Verein für Germanisches Heidentum e.V. (VfGH), Germany
- Clan Ostara, France
- Forn Sed Sverige (FSS), Sweden
- Gotland Forn Sed (GFS), Spain
- The Kith of the Tree and the Well (KTW), UK
- Asatru UK (AUK), UK
- Ásatrú Ibérica, Spain

Besides the member groups of the Asatru-EU network we have received messages from other groups that will support and share the joint statement:
- NornirsAett, Germany
- Asatru Schweiz, Switzerland

Of besluiten we hier bij een ding over?

Valora:
Ik stem voor,  kan ook tijdens het ding besproken. Het is met name ook acceptatie van die niet-heterosexuele levensstijlen begreep ik.

Vuurnacht:
Ik ben voor. We kunnen wel online een poll houden, maar aangezien het Ding toch binnenkort is, kunnen we het net zo goed dan doen.
